I know you can check the dimensions of the iPad on any website but these photos shows you how it measures up to common items so you get a sense for how portable it really is.

When I got mine it felt thinner than what I expected. Its got a slight curvature on one side that gives it an illusion of thinness.

The weight was about what I expected. It’s got a solid weighty feel to it, but at the same time its much lighter than any laptop, and its definitely something I can see carrying around with me. I’ve been carrying it around everywhere since I bought it. It’s my new baby!
